My name is Yuri. I am currently in Lviv, but I am originally from Melitopol, a city that is under occupation. When the war started, I was forced to come to Lviv. It was difficult for me because I was alone, didn't know where to stay, or who to turn to. Thank God, He led me to the church, where I met the representatives of the Let's Help Ukraine association, Mrs. Silvana and Mr. Nuno. They helped us a lot by bringing clothes, shoes, food, and blankets. We are very grateful because, in such a difficult time, they supported us. I am very thankful to the Let's Help Ukraine association for all the help they give us. I am from Lviv, but I am an elderly woman, 85 years old, and I am very sick. They brought me clothes, shoes, hygiene products, food, and they also helped me with medications, which are very expensive, and I can’t always afford them. I either buy medications or food because my pension is not enough for anything. Recently, they helped me undergo eye surgery because I was completely blind. Now I am in recovery after that surgery. I am very grateful for this help, very, very much, on behalf of everyone who received assistance, and I wish health to all.
